Job Summary
Job Description
The Equipment Coordinator is a key member of the Metrology department and serves as the primary point of contact for calibrated equipment entering and exiting the laboratory. This position is responsible for coordinating the receipt, tracking, processing, and return of Inspection, Measuring, and Test Equipment (IMTE) while ensuring assets are routed efficiently through the calibration process.
The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for scanning equipment due for calibration, assigning assets to the appropriate calibration discipline, and maintaining accurate tracking information throughout the calibration cycle. Successful candidates may have opportunities to advance into a Calibration Technician role in the future.
