Job Description:

•TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Anderson, SC location for a Quality Technician who will perform basic quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. Primary Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for returns analysis, continual improvement activities, supplier interface and customer complaint handling + Inspect and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications + Develop inspection instructions + Perform system audits to ensure procedures are being followed + Gathers data to help support continual improvement activity + Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

+ 2-year degree with HS diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience + Must be knowledgeable of inspection and analysis techniques. Familiar with a QMS such as

ISO 9000

2000. Prefer a person with a certification such as the

CQT Physical Demands:

+ Standing for extended periods of time. + Repetitive motion. + Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers. + Frequent lifting up to 50lbs - team lifts over 50lbs. + Able to work in various temperature conditions. Internal Qualifications:

+ No final warnings + No more than 6 attendance points + Efficiency and Quality goals met for the previous 3 months + Must be in current role for 6+ months. + Must meet all job description requirements.
