Job Description

Quality Tech will do Product performance testing with equipment and machines at the Quality Laboratories to ensure quality products and comply with the sampling and testing regulatory program (all water heater models, all DD Cooktop models, all subassembly parts and Supplier's parts, Analyze products failed on the field "autopsy", Shipping test to audit packed products, others as necessary) are produced that meets the high GEA standards. You will work to enhance the quality and quantity of work output and reduce the scrap rate while maintaining a safe work environment. This position is responsible for all Quality Audits and Tests to assure customers are given a quality product on schedule, and leading Quality improvement activities. Also, this role is responsible for controlling scrap and leading teams to resolve top Quality issues. In this role you must be able to support associates and supplement the group's labor force as needed on the production line. Position Quality

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution 2 to 3 years of Quality related roles Must be able to read Calipers, Micrometers and Prints 1 year experience with Microsoft Software includingExcel, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise and/or working knowledge of Fabrication and Assembly Areas. Expert with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Associate or bachelor's degreeWorking Conditions:
Physical working conditions: Wear safety attire or proper PPE daily Usually work indoors. All areas may not be temperature controlled Physical demands of the position include Bending, stooping, twisting, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling Handling and lifting of parts or materials- minimum of 50 lbs.
