Job Description

Responsible for creating measurement programs taking into account geometric dimensions and tolerances based on drawings, MBD (model-based definition) data and/or programs, machine operating manuals, documents (e.g. construction plans, manufacturing orders, sketches) and specifications Creating work orders in the relevant software taking into account specifications issued by the technical department or the customer Providing functional support to the technical departments if changes are required, incl. translating the results from coordinate measuring machines Responsible for creating measurement programs for the coordinate measuring machine, with or without a CAD model Drawing up initial-sample test reports as per the VDA and PPAP template Advising the technical departments on the selection of suitable test equipment and methods based on analyses and taking into account the Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR) Amending the CU's standardised FMEA to suit the local circumstances in consultation with the technical departments Responsible for creating MSAs (measuring system analyses) based on the requirements set out in the control plan Implementing all measurement equipment and gauges regularly calibration Responsible for entering the IMDS data Planning and carrying out local re-qualification inspections Evaluating the measurement data for SPC (Statistical Process Control) Other duties, as assigned ElringKlinger is one of the world's leading automotive suppliers and technology groups.
