Job Description
Ambassador Personnel is seeking a Quality Technician for a 6 month to 1 year assignment with a global manufacturing client located in Fort Mill, SC. This position requires knowledge of CMM's. This is a 1st shift position from 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday paying $25.00 per hour. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for inspection of manufactured components Develop and edit CMM programs using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar metrology software Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T specifications, and CAD models Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined parts Analyze measurement data and generate detailed inspection reports Verify dimensional accuracy and ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications Troubleshoot CMM programming and equipment issues as needed Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and repeatability Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve dimensional or quality concerns Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and inspection processes
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with CMM software such as PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso, MCOSMOS, or equivalent Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges Ability to interpret CAD models and technical drawings Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Ambassador is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
