Your Mission:
The Quality Inspection Team Lead assists and supports the Quality Supervisor/Manager by directing and guiding a team of Quality Technicians who perform dimensional and visual inspections. This role focuses on coordinating inspection tasks based on production priorities, supporting quality standards, and fostering a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Role:
Assist in directing and coordinating team members to complete dimensional inspection tasks according to priority actions. Assist with the implementation, interpretation, and maintenance of ISO9001 quality standards. Participate in internal audits as needed, supporting the supervisor/manager. Assist team members in verifying measurements and product conformity using calipers, tape measures, gauges, and other basic tools. Assist in maintaining accurate inspection documentation and logs. Assist in pre-shift briefings with the team on safety, inspection goals, and priorities. Deliver and receive constructive feedback to support continuous improvement of the team. Promote a culture of mentoring, development, and professional behavior within the team. Assist in maintaining clean and organized work areas and promoting 5S practices. Support personal and team safety by ensuring proper use of PPE and awareness of machine operation and hazards. Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and cross-functional groups. Assist in other duties as assigned to support the Quality Supervisor/Manager and department objectives .
Requirements:
Mission Readiness:
High school diploma or GED required. Completion of a quality program, trade school, or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing. Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools. Familiarity with Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred. Experience with PC-based tools (Word, Excel, basic documentation). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to assist and guide team members and collaborate with other departments. Ability to coach and mentor technicians under the guidance of the supervisor/manager.

May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly. May lift or carry 50lbs.
