The Quality Control lI Team Member is chiefly responsible for maintaining quality standards by approving incoming products and recording quality results

How success is defined:
Review inspection packets to verify product specifications and requirements. Inspect incoming products by confirming specifications and conducting visual inspections/tests. Maintain accurate records of inspection results and promptly notify the Lead Inspector of any failed inspections. Meet daily departmental productivity and quality objectives. Complete all assigned tasks and additional duties as requested. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve organizational goals and identify and resolve issues. Demonstrate and uphold Visual Comfort Company Values in all work activities and interactions. Exhibit a strong commitment to dependability, punctuality, and adherence to established work schedules while maintaining a consistent workplace presence to support communication and collaboration. Perform outbound product inspections to ensure quality standards are met prior to shipment. Conduct first article inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements. Monitor the Quality email inbox and provide customer service support and assistance as needed.
What you will bring:
Minimum 3 years of experience inspecting products High School Degree, Diploma or a GED equivalent certificate from a certified institution Manufacturing/Distribution environment a must Basic math, reading, and communication skills Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment (pallet jack, pallet rider, order picker, forklift) Requires squatting, kneeling, bending, and some overhead lifting Works well in a team environment Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for this role
Compensation Range:
