Job Description

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Auditor for a manufacturing company in Rock Hill, SC area! The qualified candidate will be responsible to ensure all facilities are complying to federal, state, and corporate food safety quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and execute internal and external audits to evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee external vendors responsible for conducting international audits. Administer the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) program and ensure timely follow‑up and closure. Maintain all audit, vendor, and supplier documentation within the Quality Management System (Qualityze). Assess the risk level of audit findings and verify that corrective and preventive actions address both immediate issues and long‑term prevention. Develop and implement systems to track departmental performance and compliance metrics. Prioritize audit activities and reporting to ensure timely completion, and support CAPA program implementation as needed. Train and support internal departments in meeting Quality and Compliance expectations. Evaluate internal audit processes, identify areas at risk for non‑compliance, and help develop or implement policies to mitigate those risks. Support organizational training and readiness for regulatory inspections. Collaborate with and provide support to other Quality Assurance team members. Report audit metrics and compliance trends to Quality Assurance and departmental leadership. Communicate effectively across all levels and departments while working collaboratively in a team environment. Understand CMO roles and responsibilities and provide Quality Assurance support for product development, investigations, and CAPAs. Utilize SAP Quality Assurance functions as needed. Perform additional duties as required to support Quality Assurance and company objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required Occasional travel may be required 5+ years manufacturing experience SQF and GFSI implementation experience required Knowledge of regulatory requirements ASQ Certified Auditor (CQA) Certification is preferred #JDP
