QA/QC Technician Job Description The QA/QC Technician is responsible for supporting the full scope of quality assurance and quality control efforts on a utility-scale solar project. This role involves performing inspections across both electrical and mechanical scopes to ensure all installations meet project specifications and standards. Responsibilities Conduct quality inspections on mechanical and electrical installations. Verify torqueing of bolts and connections meets required specifications. Perform measurements and checks using a tape measure and other tools. Document findings and support quality reporting processes. Collaborate closely with site leadership to identify and correct deficiencies. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, industrial schematics, and perform wire pulling. Experience in conduit bending and pipe bending. Strong experience in electrical construction, including running conduit and electrical wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 2 years of solar QA experience within the last 3 years. Minimum of 2 years of QA/QC experience in solar. Ability to use a tablet and file reports efficiently. Proficiency with basic hand and power tools. Capability to read a tape measure and ruler accurately. OSHA 10 certification is required. Willingness to perform labor and non-electrical related tasks as needed. Familiarity with torquing specifications for electrical and mechanical components. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Why Work Here? Employees will work in a new construction setting. The schedule consists of five shifts a week, starting at 7 AM, with each shift lasting 5 hours from Monday through Friday, and often includes a Saturday shift. Workers are provided with three breaks daily: morning, lunch, and afternoon. Safety talks are conducted each morning before commencing work. Proper outdoor work clothing is required on site. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Salley, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
