- Fri) & 2nd Shift (Mon-Thu, 3-Day Weekend) | InsulFab Plastics
Spartanburg, SC Position:
Quality Control Inspector Employment type: Full-Time, 1st Shift Reports to: Quality Manager InsulFab Plastics is a Spartanburg-based specialty manufacturer known for tight-tolerance CNC machining and stamping of high-performance plastic materials. Our PCB Tooling division specializes in custom printed circuit board assembly fixtures for the electronic contract manufacturing industry. The Schedule We have openings on both shifts. Tell us your preference when you apply. 1stShift:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. 2ndShift:
Monday through Thursday, 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM- a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend every week.
Must meet ITAR requirements:
applicants must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or otherwise qualify as a U.S. person as defined by ITAR. Preferred Qualifications CNC machining or precision manufacturing experience, including inspecting CNC-machined and punched parts. Experience working with tight dimensional tolerances. Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) techniques. Experience with Smartscope, Micro-Vu, optical comparator, or video imaging systems. Familiarity withISO 9001
2015 or other quality-management systems, including internal audits and quality-system documentation. Experience with nonconformance reports, corrective actions, RMAs, ECNs, and calibration records. Exposure to PPAPs, Control Plans, Gage R&R, FMEA, or capability studies. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Lifting requirements are usually 10 pounds; on occasion may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Standing and/or walking approximately 50% of work time. Some exposure to noisy and dusty work environments. Protective glasses and ear plugs may be required.
