Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure customer quality requirements for press parts and assembly parts to reach internal / external goals and objectives. Review the dimensional product results according to internal and external specifications. Primary tasks Develop measuring reports to customer requirements 1. Conduct series measurements for Stamping and Assembly parts according to customer specifications 2. Conduct analysis measurements for Stampings and Assembly parts in case of investigations 3. Report measurement results to internal and external customers. 4. Reporting, analyzing and maintaining the required and accepted quality for the product 5. Reviewing of series measurement reports. 6. Develop and optimize measurement programs (full measurement layout and series measurements) 7. Support production and maintenance for dimensional issues. 8. Maintaining of measurement equipment and measuring software 9. Data exchange with customer and suppliers 10. Reporting of non-conforming products to production and quality responsibilities. 11. Inspection of measuring devices and checking fixtures. 12. Evaluate and optimize existing CMM programs 13. Requalification and maintaining of checking fixtures. 14. Re- PPAP of stamping and assembly parts according to customer requirements and
ISO/TS 16949
requirements 15. Operate T-Scan for problem investigation and assembly process adjustments 16. Developing and handling of flexible measurement fixtures 17. Creating and maintaining CM4D reports 18. Conduct measurements with T-Scan Hawk, ATOS ScanBox, In-line ATOS ScanBox
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum (2) years of experience in Manufacturing, Automotive industry preferred.
  • Minimum (2) years Class A experience preferred.
  • Minimum (2) years of CMM experience
  • Ability to create CMM programs from CAD data and/or part files
  • SPC (statistical process control) basics
  • Operating, maintaining and programming of CMM
  • CAD/CAM process
  • Process monitoring software (SPC software)
  • CMM Programming software
GD&T PREFERRED SKILLS
Computer literacy (MS office). Training in reading 2D part drawings and 3D model data. Experience in operating, maintaining and programming of CMM (Zeiss, DEA, Brown & Sharp). Capability for professional and social contact with customers. Quality awareness. Excellent knowledge of class A/B/C parts. Process understanding for press shop and assembly shop. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of APQP process and Quality problem solving tools. Knowledge of
ISO 9001, ISO/TS
16949 and
ISO 14001
Quality Management Systems documents. Experience with Zeiss Inspection Software (GOM),
