We are an equipment supplier and this role turns customer materials into their desired results while recording machine settings and logging data for our teams to size and sell equipment. At RMS Roller-Grinder, our Testing Center is more than a workspace. It is where customer challenges turn into real solutions. As we grow, we are looking for a Full-Time Equipment Testing Specialist who can take ownership, thrive on independence, and take pride in running industrial equipment in a clean, high-performing operation. What You Will Do You will be the go-to expert running our Testing Center , owning everything from equipment performance to talking to customers and creating test reports. Keep the Testing Center Running at Its Best Keep the workspace safe, clean, organized, and customer ready. Schedule and support maintenance, repairs, and component changeouts for roller mills and auxiliary equipment as needed. Manage inventory of supplies, tools, and spare parts. Turn Materials into Meaningful Insights Run test grinds and application tests on a wide variety of materials. Conduct sampling and quality verification testing. Monitor equipment wear trends to recommend service needs. Own the Testing Process Manage and prioritize the testing schedule to meet customer timelines. Accurately document and organize all test data. Analyze how materials perform and determine optimal machine settings. Deliver clear, actionable test reports with recommendations and operating parameters. Support Customers & Internal Teams Partner with sales and engineering to provide technical insights. Contribute to customer conversations with real data and practical recommendations. What Success Looks Like This role is all about ownership and impact! In Your First 3 Months You are fully trained and confidently operating the test center equipment. The test center is consistently clean, organized, and professional. You are building a rhythm managing testing workflows. By 6 Months You are independently managing the testing schedule. Your reports are clear, consistent, and trusted by the team. Data is organized and easy to access. By 12 Months The lab runs efficiently with minimal oversight. Your work directly supports customer decisions and sales efforts. Testing turnaround is fast, reliable, and high quality. What We are Looking For A self-starter who takes full ownership of their work. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with equipment.
