Here's what you'll get to do:

Product Testing:

Conduct thorough and systematic testing of audiovisual products at the end of the production line to verify their performance, functionality, and compliance with established quality standards.

Validating and updating/loading current software/firmware:

as needed for production units prior to shipping.

Defect Identification:

Carefully inspect and identify any defects, malfunctions, or inconsistencies in audiovisual products during the testing process. Document and report all findings promptly.

Test Plan Development:

Create detailed test plans and test cases that cover all aspects of audiovisual product functionality. Design test scenarios to simulate real-world usage and edge cases.

Reporting and Documentation:

Compile comprehensive test reports that outline the testing procedures, results, and recommendations for improvement. Maintain accurate records and documentation of testing processes.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers, engineers, and production staff, to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.

Troubleshooting:

Assist in troubleshooting issues that arise during the testing process and provide technical support to resolve any challenges.

Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve overall product quality and testing efficiency.

Quality Audits:

Participate in internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and industry standards. This is what will get you noticed: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience is a plus. Electronic product testing experience is ideal. Experience and knowledge working with AV over IP network systems would be a plus. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or in a similar testing role within the audiovisual product industry. Strong understanding of audiovisual technology, including displays, audio systems, video playback, and connectivity features. Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and quality assurance principles. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to think critically. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
