- Quality and Compliance Summary/Objective Responsible for maintaining the quality investigations and metrics systems at Direct Customer Solutions .
Champion investigations; CAPA, NCR, RCA and quality compliance metrics systems and processes. Educate and train quality associates how their day-to-day job requirements impact these portions of the QMS. - Facilitate the organization's QMS investigations as they pertain to quality in a regulatory environment: creating, performing, and maintaining: CAPAs and RCAs utilizing root cause analysis tools, such as: 6M, 6W2H, 5Y, etc.
- Store and maintain the electronic and hardcopy versions of these investigatory activities.
- Maintain the organization's QMS metrics, as they pertain to the quality in a regulatory environment: creating, editing, and maintaining a control charts, trending, statistical process control.
- Provide monthly metrics reports to the organization for the transparent evaluation of quality and compliance related processes and systems.
- Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with service and development associates.
- Interact with Human Resources and department managers to create training curriculums and maintain training records.
- Report to management on quality issues and trends.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to sit, stand, walk for 8 hours per day. Must be able to lift repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. Physical Demands This is a semi-sedentary role; however, some walking, lifting, bending, and stooping may be required. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, during day shift hours. Travel Travel is required to other company locations and may be required to client locations, as well as conferences and seminars. Education and Experience
- BS/BA in Business, Engineering, Quality, Science or Supply Chain areas.
- 3 or more years' experience in QMS systems implementation and management. Other Professional Considerations
- ASQ certification (CQA,CQT), is preferred, RAPS certification is a plus.
- Broad knowledge of theory and principles quality management systems.
- Experience in managing implementing quality systems.
- Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong computer skills including quality control applications, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough understanding of general safety requirements.
