Job Description

At-a-Glance:
Are you ready to build your career by joining a multi-national medtech company? If so, our client is hiring an Engineering Technician.
Position Type:

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years' experience Laboratory environment. Minimum of 1 years' experience in electric product development. Completed High School Diploma or GED. Required amount of travel with the position. Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations. Need experience working in a laboratory environment, ISO 17025 requirements and working with calibrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or technical training in area of responsibility. 1+ years' experience of Lab. environment and PLC product experience. Analyze, document, and report test results within an
A2LA ISO/IEC 17025
accredited laboratory. Understand and interpret a wide range of IEC standards related to EMC, Safety, climatic, and mechanical environments. Experience in equipment maintenance and inspection. Experience in equipment calibration. Maintain communication and develop relationships with internal and external personnel. Participate and contribute to both internal and external audits of the quality management system. Support the quality management system, accreditation audits, assisting with evidence, method review, corrective actions, and updates to laboratory procedures. Participate in and contribute to the accreditation requirements (ISO/IEC 17025), continuous process improvements. SAP experience.
Responsibilities:
Ensure ongoing accreditation with
ISO 17025
requirements for the laboratory. Plan and execute tests at project initiation and manage any issues that occur during testing. Provide support for and oversee the calibration and maintenance of laboratory testing equipment. Ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed in accordance with the client's expectations.
