Job Description

: Designs and installs quality control process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment. Analyzes production limitations and standards. Recommends revision of specifications when indicated. Formulates or assists in formulating quality control policies and procedures. Develops the economics of any quality control program when required..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Designs and installs quality control process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques. Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment. Analyzes production limitations and standards and recommends revision of specifications when needed. Formulates or assists in formulating quality control policies and procedures. Assists with cost control programs and standards. Provides advice and counsel in the maintenance and repair of production equipment. Translates technical guidance received from supervisors/managers into usable engineering data applicable to particular assignments. Perform other duties as assigned. May participate & facilitate team projects.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Associates degree from two year college or technical school; 3-5 years technical and engineering experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write speeches, presentations, policies, and procedures. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers or employees. Ability to make speeches and presentations to top management, other employees, and/or board of directors. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to write speeches, presentations, policies and procedures.
Math Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, whole numbers, fractions, & decimals. Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to compute and interpret statistical data
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Other Skills & Abilities:
Working knowledge of Autocad program. Experience Preferred 3 - 5 years: Competency in quality control standards and equipment.
