Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting inspection and quality processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
Day and Overnight Shifts Available What's the Job? Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with technical specifications. Conduct visual and measurement inspections using complex equipment such as Zeiss or Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machines, Smartscope, or RAM. Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, comparators, and surface gauges to accept or reject parts. Read and interpret technical drawings, incorporating tight tolerances into inspection processes. Analyze statistical data using SPC software like Infinity to maintain product quality and reliability. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of applicable product inspection experience. Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, with intermediate math skills. Experience operating inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, microscopes, and other precision tools. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
