Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying that manufactured products meet established quality standards and specifications. Working on the production floor and in quality control areas, the Quality Inspector performs visual and mechanical inspections, uses measurement tools and equipment, and documents inspection results. This role plays a key part in ensuring product consistency, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across the manufacturing process.
Duties:
Perform visual inspections of products to ensure product quality. Use quality assurance tools to measure product adherence to manufacturing specifications. Communicate with floor leadership regarding the results of inspections and checks. Removing products that do not meet production standards. Recording results, completing Quality documentation accurately, managing paperwork. Data entry and digital file management. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to understand a technical drawing. Ability to read, write, and speak English or Spanish is required. Ability in basic arithmetic. Willingness to learn basic measurement techniques (ruler, floor tape, calipers, micrometer, gauges). Willingness to learn how to use equipment such as an electrical hi-pot tester, pull-tester, torque analyzer, digital camera, torque wrench/screwdriver. Attention to detail, ability to detect variation and non-conformances in parts. Basic computer skills. Be used to working in a team setting, be able to follow instructions, display initiative, and have good verbal communication skills.
Experience/Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend and/or squat for 10+ hours in a day. Must be able to lift 25-50 Ibs at a time. Regularly perform repetitive tasks Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.
