$23 - $25/hr Job Summary MS Companies is supporting a manufacturing customer in Spring Hill, TN in the search for a Quality Liaison to support plant quality operations inside a customer facility. This role acts as the on-site quality representative, working closely with Customer Quality and Manufacturing teams to identify issues, support containment activity, and help ensure certified product reaches the production line without disruption. The ideal candidate comes from an automotive or manufacturing environment and understands how quality issues impact production. This person will stay close to the production floor, proactively audit incoming material, communicate issues quickly, and help coordinate containment, sorting, or rework activities when necessary. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in an automotive or manufacturing environment
- Foam product experience within automotive manufacturing preferred
- Understanding of basic quality inspection principles and processes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly report issues to internal teams and suppliers
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel and email for documentation and reporting
- Ability to work directly on the plant floor in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail when verifying inspection results and containment data
- Ability to respond quickly to production quality concerns Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Quality Liaison, Resident Quality, Quality Inspector, or Quality Technician role
- Experience supporting supplier quality or customer plant environments
- Familiarity with containment processes such as sorting, inspection, and rework coordination
- Experience documenting quality issues with photos and clear reporting to suppliers
- Ability to help train personnel on inspection processes when needed
- Prior exposure to automotive supplier/OEM quality requirements Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build working relationships with Customer Quality and Manufacturing teams within the facility
- Proactively audit incoming material to identify potential quality issues before they impact production
- Communicate quality issues found within the customer facility to the supplier quickly with clear details and supporting photos
- Ensure inspection processes are followed and certified product is supplied to production lines in a timely manner
- Communicate and monitor clean points to ensure containment measures remain effective
- Help initiate, train personnel, and coordinate containment, sorting, or rework activities when requested
- Verify the accuracy of containment inspection data and findings
- Maintain rejected material inventory to support accurate RMA processing Physical and Environment Requirements Physical expectations and working conditions associated with the job may include standing, walking, or moving throughout a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
The role may require lifting up to 25-50 lbs depending on the situation and working directly on the production floor within a manufacturing facility.
