Job Description

Job Details:
As a Quality Assurance Technician 5, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and plant systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conduct Inspections:
Perform thorough physical and visual inspections of our products and plant systems to ensure everything meets our high standards.
Document & Report:
Accurately document and calculate inspection results and report your findings to management.
Take Action:
Proactively take corrective actions, when necessary, by alerting the appropriate personnel to adjust processes, and identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products.
Collaborate:
Work closely with your team and management to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards.
Additional Assignments:
Be ready to take on any additional tasks that come your way, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a FSQA role preferred or other QA type experience.
Communication Skills:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Will interact with USDA and other points of contact.
Special Skills:
Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork. Leadership abilities to motivate the hourly workforce. Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills. Solid math and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret product specifications. Ability to function well under stress. Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Position involves heavy lifting (40 lbs. or more). May include lifting, standing, and walking for long periods of time.
