  • : Warehouse Journeyman
  • Pay Rate:
  • $34.00 - $36.00 (based on certification)
  • Incentive Rate:
  • $10.00 (will be combined with base rate)
  • Per Diem (if eligible)
  • : $178.00 per day worked
  • Work Schedule
  • : 5x10's (subject to change)

  • Job Responsibilities
  • : • Must work well as part of a team.
  • Work within all PCL and client guidelines.
  • Safe use of Hand & Power Tools.
  • Work safely at all times and promote safety to others around you.
  • Participate fully in health, safety, quality, and environmental processes.
  • Assist in assuring all required PCL and client Safety and QA/QC forms are properly filled out with all necessary signatures.
  • Ensure areas are barricaded if required and the travel path is clear prior to any overhead lift and/or equipment movement.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate clearly in English.
  • Ensure grades and materials are accurate (warehouse/laydown specific)
  • May need to check MTRs. (Warehouse/laydown specific)
  • Keep a clean work area.
  • Identify and assemble all necessary materials and equipment for a particular task and ensure return of same.
  • Load and unload material.
  • Receives materials and compares with shipping party packing list, notates unitized assets.
  • Pick material for distribution.
  • Read details for supports, spools etc.
  • Assist immediate supervisor with aligning future tasks to be completed.
  • Prioritize tasks according to job schedule and direction.
  • Organization skills
  • Adhere to the standard operating procedures for material control.
  • A good knowledge of tools and consumables (Tool crib personnel).
  • Ability to maintain min/max levels (Tool crib personnel).
  • Must be able to run warehouse forklift, certified is a plus!
  • May assist riggers, under their supervision, to lift or move equipment and materials using harnesses and slings and other related lifting devises.
  • Participate in all health, safety, environmental and quality programs and processes.
  • Experience in the industrial construction industry (oil and gas industry) or related field, with two or more years of experience as a Warehouse Person.
  • Have worked around operating equipment and are aware of the hazards of moving equipment.
  • Knowledge of MTRs and calibration certifications.
  • Knowledge of permanent material and grades.
