Job Description

QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN
Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm $17.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met. Perform routine testing and measurements using quality control equipment and tools. Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation. Identify quality concerns, defects, and non-conforming materials; report findings to appropriate personnel. Support investigations into quality issues and assist with corrective actions. Work closely with production and other departments to improve product quality and manufacturing processes. Calibrate, maintain, and verify testing and inspection equipment. Assist with quality audits and compliance activities. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment preferred. Knowledge of quality inspection processes and quality management systems. Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and testing equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when documenting results. Comfortable reading work instructions, specifications, and technical documents. Basic computer and data entry skills. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and root cause analysis is a plus. Understanding of workplace safety practices in a manufacturing setting. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
