Job Description

What Do We Do Here? Our Conroe Facility manufactures downhole products for drilling activities in North America. The plant operates 24/7 to meet the high demand for these products. We provide our employees with an air-conditioned environment, a highly organized and clean 300,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility, new CNC Machines (Mazak, Mori Seiki, DMG Mori, Weiler, etc.), and a robust safety program designed to ensure our team's well-being, so they can return home safely to their families after every shift.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform inspections on components, purchased parts, and/or finished products as required. Perform source inspections at facilities. Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents. Review inspection records received for compliance. Maintain inspection and measuring equipment. Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming parts. Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery. Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards. All other reasonable tasks are assigned to help the team, operations, or the facility overall. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and/or 3+ yrs. of related job experience required 1+ yrs. knowledge of standard safety and manufacturing processes preferred Experience in Quality Control, Machinist, or General Manufacturing is highly preferred Demonstrable experience reading and understanding engineering prints. Demonstrable experience using precision measuring instruments. Demonstrable experience using computer software programs (GagePack, ERP, Excel, Word). Non-destructive inspection experience.
