Job Title:
Quality Control Inspector Overview Summary Summit Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support manufacturing operations in Coppell, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintaining quality records, and ensuring products meet company and customer specifications. You'll work closely with production and engineering teams to uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Pay Rate:
$20.00

00/hour Key Responsibilities Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on manufactured products. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments including CMM, micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Verify product dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality standards. Maintain accurate inspection logs and documentation. Identify non-conforming materials, disposition holds, and communicate defects. Initiate and manage NCRs and CAPA processes. Assist production with first-piece approvals and in-process quality checks. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Adhere to
ISO 9001
procedures and site-specific QMS processes. Participate in internal and external audits. Conduct routine audits of materials and processes Manage inspection tools, instruments, calibration, and sample inventory. Skills & Experience 2-5 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment. Previous experience as a Quality Control Technician preferred. Strong knowledge of QMS and
ISO 9001
standards. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Hands-on experience using CMM, micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Knowledge of quality tools such as root cause analysis and 5 Whys. Experience with corrective and preventive action processes (CAPA). Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or industrial environments Familiarity with internal and external audit processes Strong initiative, integrity, and ability to work in a team environment. Work Environment Warehouse or manufacturing setting Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Why Join Summit Staffing?
