Job Description Summary Work strategically to drive physical and systematic changes in the material flow process by deploying Lean / Six Sigma methodology. Job Description Key responsibilities/essential functions include: Inventory management with Supplier material Stream Stocking levels Transactional Process Support Global allocation of material. Resource allocation. Lean manufacturing initiatives and support. Establishing and maintaining a teamwork environment with Sourcing. Manage all aspects of transfer projects from initiation through closure. Lead the team(s) to develop scope and project plans to complete the project. Partner and work cross-functionally with other organizations to develop plans for Materials flow standardization, inventory management, Support of transactional processes, Phase-In-Phase-Out (PIPO), etc. Influence Managers to develop buy-in and support for the project, resource plans, timelines, etc. and to ensure timely execution. Prioritize the execution of others and report out progress to larger team and business leaders. Assist team members in setting project-based priorities. Provide feedback as required. Identify potential obstacles and develop contingency plans. Partner with Engineering and Sourcing teams to secure materials to meet program goals. Positive supplier relationships. Comply with EHS regulations and policies; identify and report any EHS concern and support on corrective actions.
