Job Description

EXCEL Group is looking for a dependable and skilled Process Handler to support our team. In this role, you'll be key to maintaining a smooth and efficient material flow throughout our manufacturing processes. Your strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and experience in fast-paced environments will help ensure seamless production. Ideal candidates should have prior experience with hazardous materials and expertise in dry material loading/unloading to guarantee safe and effective material transfer.
Responsibilities:
Safely connect and disconnect transfer hoses for VCM unloading from railcars or trucks Monitor gauges, flow meters, and unloading equipment to ensure proper material flow Conduct inspections of unloading systems and equipment to identify any issues or leaks Perform both VCM and dry material loading/unloading, following safety and operating procedures Maintain accurate records of material quantities and input data into the facility management system Perform routine equipment maintenance and promptly report malfunctions Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations Collaborate with team members to coordinate unloading schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Certificate or degree in process technology or process operations preferred Experience in both liquid and dry material loading/unloading in an industrial setting, ideally with hazardous chemicals Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to hazardous materials (OSHA, DOT) Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
