Gainesville, TX Shift:
A Shift, 7:45 AM - 8:00
PM Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience Position Summary Penmac is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to help ensure products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role serves as a critical quality checkpoint by inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, and verifying finished products before shipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a passion for maintaining high-quality manufacturing standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform quality inspections throughout the extrusion process. Conduct final product inspections before products are released for shipment. Verify incoming raw materials meet quality standards and maintain accurate testing records. Compare products against customer specifications and quality requirements. Inspect, identify, and tag finished products appropriately. Issue SAP Quality Notifications as required. Operate and utilize quality testing and measuring equipment, including: Micrometers Pi tapes Calipers Maintain detailed inspection and testing documentation. Monitor production processes to identify quality concerns and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with production teams to promote a strong quality-focused culture. Provide recommendations and feedback to improve product quality and manufacturing processes. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Ensure compliance with quality standards at every stage of production. Qualifications Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and pi tapes. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation. Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipment. Ability to perform repetitive movements and visual inspections throughout the shift.
