Job Description

MUST HAVE SHEET METAL MANUFACTURING AND MACHINING EXPERIENCE
Our Company Data-Matique is a local manufacturing company who has been an industry leader for 50 years, specializing in precision sheet metal, machined parts and mechanical assemblies serving the Aerospace, Industrial and Commercial market. We are currently growing our Quality Inspection department, and are looking for highly motivated, experienced mechanical precision parts inspectors. We are ISO9000 and AS9100 certified.
Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities:
Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor. Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work. Must have the experience and ability to read blueprints, customer's drawings, Bill of Materials, special notes, and spec requirements, and fill out appropriate documentation. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. Accomplishes quality audits of scheduled departments. U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident status required.

MUST HAVE SHEET METAL MANUFACTURING AND MACHINING EXPERIENCE
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma Experience with ISO9001 and AS9100 a plus Experience with measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, Micro Hite, and other measuring instruments Two to three years quality inspector experience
Pay:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
