Hour Schedule :
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime when needed (up to 10 hrs. per week) Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced quality professional with strong initiative to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all quality standards are consistently met across our manufacturing operations. The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing inspections, quality checks, and process evaluations throughout the production cycle—helping to maintain and improve our products, processes, and systems. This position requires hands-on experience with quality inspections, a deep understanding of quality documentation, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during various stages of the manufacturing process Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications Document and record inspection results accurately and thoroughly Identify, report, and track non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis Make recommendations to improve quality processes, documentation, and product consistency Assist in developing and updating process documentation, such as SOPs, routings, and travelers Create and present visual aids and reports to support quality analysis and decision-making Support and participate in internal ISO audits and ensure compliance with applicable standards Lead or assist in continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives Provide ESD and ISO-related training and ensure proper control measures are followed Maintain defect tracking and rework records to monitor and reduce quality issues Serve as backup for in-process and final pre-shipment inspections Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and purchasing Follow all safety and quality policies as part of Cypress Technologies Corporation's commitment to operational excellence Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills High level of initiative and problem-solving ability Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and manufacturing documents Proficient in Microsoft Office and enterprise software systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams Familiarity with quality inspection tools and methodologies Knowledge of
ISO 9001
standards and ESD control practices Education & Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of technical or manufacturing experience in a quality role Experience with ISO standards, internal audits, and quality control processes Prior experience in a high-tech or electronics manufacturing environment is a plus Work Environment & Conditions Willingness to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice Must be able to stand, walk, and perform inspections in a production environment for extended periods
