Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities•: Work with QC Management to achieve 100% of department daily needs and priorities. Provide consistent, thorough, professional service to all departments. Independent verification of product to blueprint, P.O. and manufacturing requirements using best known methods. Independently use Procedures, Forms, Hand tools, CMM (Including occasional Programming), Surface plate, Comparator. Assist team members in verification of inspection results, including products found to be discrepant. (double checks) Escalate issues to QC Management as needed. Assist other QC team and Production team members as needed. Completion and verification to requirements of customer documentation packages. Use and understanding of ERP software. Other QC tasks as determined.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a manufacturing shop environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copier/scanner, and filing cabinets. Senior QC Inspector will need to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. No travel is expected. Knowledge/Skills:
5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment. Understand and instruct the use of hand-held measurement tools. Use of CMM Software, including editing programs. (PC DMIS, Modus) Computer skills. (ERP, Excel, Word, Outlook, Inspection Xpert, Minitab) Communicate Proficiently. Diverse background in various manufacturing environments including Aerospace, Semiconductor. Work well in a team environment.
Education/Experience:
Minimum of High school diploma. 5 years minimum of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment. Some college, technical training or ASQ certification desired. International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR): Must be either; US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
