Job Description
Overview Join us as a Beertender, where your enthusiasm for craft beverages and exceptional customer service will shine! In this lively role, you'll serve a diverse selection of beers, provide expert recommendations, and create memorable experiences for our guests. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming atmosphere. You will also handle and serve food, although this is not a full kitchen, we do have a light menu with excellent choices. This paid position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while working alongside the owners growing their name in the industry. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting beers that match their preferences, offering detailed descriptions and pairing suggestions Pour and serve beer and wine accurately using proper techniques, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Operate POS system efficiently for orders, payments, and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, tools, and supplies Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to food safety and alcohol service regulations Regularly bus tables in the taproom and beer garden Support food service operations by assisting with food handling, serving food items when needed, and ensuring guest satisfaction Requirements Ability to work nights and weekends Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing Prior experience in food service or beverage industry preferred We value energetic team players dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety and service excellence!
