Description:
You will be the Inspector Sr for the Quality Inspection team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest product quality across the Lufkin facility. What You Will Be Doing As the Inspector Sr you will be responsible for leading quality inspections, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing products. Identify and document non-conformances and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with production teams to implement quality improvements. Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with industry standards. Basic Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, Go/No‑Go gauges) and ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills, including accurate completion of inspection reports, non‑conformance records, and corrective‑action follow‑up.
  • Basic computer skills; comfortable using SAP and other related systems.
  • Effective communication and teamwork, experience clearly conveying findings to engineers, supervisors, and production staff and collaborating on corrective‑action plans.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
