Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector ensures that JTS products meet quality standards through hands-on inspection and compliance monitoring. This role focuses primarily on detecting defects, documenting findings, and supporting corrective actions.
Accountabilities:
Conduct inspections at all stages of manufacturing, ensuring compliance with procedures and quality standards. Identify defects and deviations, documenting findings accurately for the production team. Communicate inspection results with production teams in real time and during production meetings. Support containment and corrective actions when quality issues are identified. Assist in maintaining calibration and documentation of measuring tools.
Required Knowledge/Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing inspection. High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). ISO9001 experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with stooping, crouching, twisting, and reaching. Lift and carry equipment/products up to 50lbs; use hand tools up to 20 lbs. Ability to work at heights (up to 20 ladders) and in various weather conditions.
Work Environment:
Production floor, manufacturing shop, and office.
