Beyond Engineering and Testing (Beyond) provides on the job training for candidates with a strong work ethic, motivation to provide excellent customer service. Beyond is an AASHTO accredited and licensed Texas and New Mexico engineering firm that provides geotechnical and construction material engineering services, with offices located in Carrollton, Midland, Round Rock, Dallas, TX and Carlsbad, NM. Education/Experience Requirements High School or equivalent education required.
Experience:
3+ year (Preferred) in Construction materials Testing & Inspection Current certifications in ACI Concrete Field Testing - Grade I, TxAPA 1A/1B/SB102 preferred. Required Job Skills Possess strong oral and writing skills to effectively communicate between project team members and clients. Possess the ability to perform field testing activities in an outdoor construction environment, which involves lifting heavy equipment and walking on uneven terrain in summer temperatures. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with 3 or fewer tickets in the past 3 years. Job Tasks Please note that vehicle travel will be required for driving to/from project sites. Candidate will be primarily performing soil, aggregate, concrete and asphalt sampling/testing. Individuals must be authorized to work in the U.S. ; Candidates will go through background, driver's license, and drug tests.
