Job Description

Capital Projects Midland Check In Specialist Minimum Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous Pipe, Valve, and Fittings (PVF) experience is required. Strong working knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings, flanges, and related oilfield/industrial materials is required. Must be capable of independently identifying and verifying common PVF materials, specifications, quantities, and potential discrepancies. Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, oilfield supply, warehouse operations, construction materials, project support, or a related field required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company requirements. Must be able and willing to safely pull and operate a non-CDL trailer loaded with materials using a company vehicle. Must be comfortable loading, securing, transporting, and unloading materials when required. Working knowledge of proper load securement and safe material transportation practices. Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets, email, inventory systems, and company software. Ability to accurately verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, transfer documents, project documentation, and other records. Ability to recognize incorrect materials, quantities, specifications, damaged products, and other discrepancies. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and follow discrepancies through resolution. Demonstrated dependability, accountability, and professionalism. Additional Job Responsibilities In addition to regular check-in and Specialist responsibilities, this position may be required to: Identify and verify incoming pipe, valves, fittings, flanges, and other PVF materials. Review PVF materials for accuracy and identify potential discrepancies before materials are accepted, staged, transferred, or delivered. Assist Check In Associates with PVF identification and material-related questions. Coordinate loading, unloading, staging, and movement of Capital Projects materials. Pick up, deliver, or transfer materials between RK Supply locations, vendors, project sites, or other designated locations. Safely operate a company vehicle while pulling a non-CDL trailer containing materials. Verify loads and ensure materials are appropriately secured before transportation. Coordinate with Capital Projects personnel, vendors, purchasing, and other departments to resolve material discrepancies. Assist with urgent material pickups and deliveries when necessary to support project needs.
