In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards through thorough inspection and testing processes of Drill Pipe and BHA components . You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and expertise in quality inspection to evaluate components and assemblies, ensuring they adhere to specifications and schematics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data collection and analysis, as well as proficiency with hand tools and soldering techniques. Responsibilities Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Perform testing procedures using various tools, including micrometers and other hand tools, to assess product quality. Collect and analyze data related to inspection results to identify trends or areas for improvement. Review schematics and technical documentation to verify assembly processes align with design specifications. Assemble and fabricate components as needed while maintaining high standards of quality. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests performed, and results obtained. Train and mentor junior inspectors on best practices in quality assurance. Qualifications Proven experience in quality inspection or a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to read schematics effectively. Proficiency in using micrometers, hand tools, and other inspection equipment. Experience with soldering techniques is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for data collection and interpretation. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members across departments.
