Services Management Inc Pasadena, TX Job Details Full-time 20 hours ago Qualifications Construction specifications TWIC Card American Welding Society (AWS) standards Construction plans Construction drawing review ASME codes & standards Certified Welding Inspector Full Job Description QC Field Tech Pasadena, TX Description We are seeking to hire a qualified Quality Control Technician to support quality assurance and quality control activities for construction and fabrication projects. The ideal candidate must possess a current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification and have experience performing inspections in accordance with applicable codes, specifications, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspections of welding, fabrication, and construction activities. Verify compliance with approved WPSs, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. Review and maintain quality documentation, including weld logs, MTRs, inspection reports, and test records. Coordinate and monitor NDE activities. Conduct field inspections and provide timely reporting of quality issues and corrective actions. Support hydrostatic testing, material traceability, and final turnover documentation. Communicate effectively with project management, construction personnel, clients, and subcontractors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification (required). Experience in industrial, pipeline, fabrication, or construction quality control. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including ASME and AWS requirements. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
