1st Summary of Position The SMC -Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring all composite parts and components manufactured in the Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) department meet strict quality standards. This technical role focuses on monitoring product integrity, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts to reduce production defects and improve overall manufacturing quality. Key Responsibilities Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or composite materials preferred Knowledge of Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) processes is a plus Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy and consistency
