Job Description

SPR Packaging is a manufacturer of flexible packaging located in Rockwall, Texas. We supply printed plastic bags to major manufacturers in the US, in markets such as: Bakery, Ice, Consuming products, Tortilla and Lawn & Garden. Primarily working for all aspects of manufacturing quality control, quality assurance certifications, and regulations. This technician will be responsible for conducting tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products Establish and monitor production quality standards Develop production tracking and quality control procedures Quality testing in the lab and data analysis Propose improvements to the quality control and production processes Communicate issues to quality and production management Compliance with AIB, GMP, HAACP, FDA, TCEQ, and other regulatory authorities Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products Establish and monitor production quality standards Develop production tracking and quality control procedures Quality testing in the lab and data analysis Propose improvements to the quality control and production processes Communicate issues to quality and production management Compliance with AIB, GMP, HAACP, FDA, TCEQ, and other regulatory authorities R e qui r eme n ts: Quality experience in a manufacturing environment and/or a background in science, math, engineering, or a related technical field.
