About the
Role:
The Quality Control Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the established quality standards before they reach the customer. This position involves conducting thorough inspections of machined parts and assemblies, utilizing various measurement tools and techniques to verify compliance with specifications. The inspector will be responsible for documenting findings and maintaining accurate records to support quality assurance processes. By identifying defects and non-conformities, the Quality Control Inspector helps to minimize waste and improve overall production efficiency. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques, including visual inspection and document control.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in quality control or a related field. Experience with ISO standards and quality management systems. Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) methods.
Responsibilities:
Conduct final inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform first article inspections to verify that initial production runs conform to specifications. Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers and optical comparators to assess product dimensions and tolerances. Document inspection results and maintain detailed records for quality control purposes. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
