Temp-to-Hire Opening LINK Staffing is hiring a QC Inspector in Stafford, TX. This is a 1st shift, Monday through Friday, temp-to-hire role paying $24.00/hour . This position is a good fit for someone with hands-on quality inspection experience who can read mechanical drawings, follow work instructions, use precision measuring tools, perform product testing, and document results accurately. You will inspect materials, parts, components, and finished products in a manufacturing environment before they move forward in production. Job Highlights $24.00/hour 1st shift schedule Monday through Friday Temp-to-hire opportunity Stafford, TX location Hands-on quality inspection role Use calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and related measuring tools Perform electrical and pressure testing when required Document inspection results and report quality issues What You'll Do Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products Read and follow mechanical drawings, work orders, procedures, and inspection forms Use precision measuring tools such as digital calipers, micrometers, and thread gages Perform electrical testing using approved test equipment and written requirements Perform pressure testing on manufactured components when required Verify parts and materials meet internal quality standards before release Record inspection and test results accurately Maintain traceability and inspection documentation Identify and report nonconforming materials, parts, or finished products Keep inspection areas, tools, and paperwork organized What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required 1 to 3 years of quality inspection, manufacturing inspection, or related testing experience preferred Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, procedures, work instructions, and forms Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gages Comfortable using basic hand tools such as cutters, pliers, knives, wire strippers, and related tools Experience with electrical testing equipment is a plus Experience with pressure testing is a plus Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Able to communicate clearly in spoken and written English Able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs Able to stand, kneel, reach, and sit for extended periods of time Why Apply This is a steady temp-to-hire quality inspection opportunity for someone who takes pride in accurate work, detailed documentation, and catching issues before products move forward.
