JOB SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day Quality Control functions in receiving, operations, and distribution. They shall ensure products are produced according to Sensapure food safety standards and customer specifications by performing these duties:
MAIN JOB FUCNTIONS
Participate in implementing and maintaining food safety policies outlined by SQF, HACCP and SOP documents Perform sensory evaluation on finished products and materials as needed Review and maintain CofA's for inbound raw materials and products Sample, test, and review testing of raw materials, WIP, and finished product Perform regular GMP checks. Perform line clearance and sanitation verification using ATP swabs. Ensure good documentation practices are being performed in real time and support RedZone documentation. Perform on the spot training for production staff. Maintain organization of documents and sample retentions Verify completion of production records Participate in finished product release Create SOP's, work instructions, logs, and other documentation as needed Other duties and functions may be assigned.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or pursuit of a bachelor's degree in science or related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in GMP/FDA regulated industry preferred.

Able to read and analyze complex documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and manuals. Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employees. Delegates work assignments by setting expectations and monitoring activities Inspires and motivates others to perform well while providing regular performance feedback Responds promptly to customer needs and manages difficult or emotional customer situations.
Intermediate/Advanced mathematical skills:
Able to apply complex mathematical concepts. Demonstrates self-management by consistently at work and on time, takes responsibility for own actions, takes initiative, generates suggestion for improving work, meets productivity standards, and monitors own work to ensure quality.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position frequently works in an office environment and frequent exposure to the manufacturing floor. Seldom exposure to noise and fumes, dust or other airborne particles. Seldom work near moving mechanical parts or powered industrial trucks. Potential exposure to allergens such as milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires frequent sitting, use of hands, talking, hearing/listening, tasting/smelling, standing, walking, bending/stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Pay:
$23.00 per hour
