Purpose:
An excellent Quality Inspector can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates except where necessary. Additionally, said inspector can maintain a safe work environment through exceptional safety precautions and training. Then, clear and concise communication is key to minimizing lost product.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining company inspection reports. Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards. Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law. Ensuring tests are within specifications. Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor. Collecting test data and drafting quality reports. Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes. Ensuring all employees are trained on safety policies and equipment Conducting regular, but randomized safety audits of the plant Performing root cause analysis on any injury or pattern of close calls Recommending preventative actions for injuries to the safety group Leading the safety group Qualifications 1+ year in Quality control in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production 1+ year in Safety /Training in a manufacturing environment Attention to Detail Ability to work alone with minimal supervision. Clear and concise communication Good team player Strong computer and technological skills--ability to utilize tablets, computers, etc. to record data, navigate google suite, and utilize our internal systems. Shift 12-hour shifts 10-hour shifts 8-hour shifts
