Quality Technician - Swing Shift (Mon-Thur, 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM)
Important:
This position is swing shift (Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM) . Candidates must be able to reliably work this schedule. About Victaulic Since 1919, Victaulic has been the world's leading producer of grooved mechanical couplings and pipe-joining systems. We are currently hiring for our foundry in Nephi, UT . Position Summary We are seeking a high-integrity, self-driven Quality Technician who can work independently with minimal supervision . This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of all products shipped to both internal and external customers through inspection, testing, and documentation. Key Responsibilities Perform physical inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met Complete documentation, certifications, and detailed reporting Conduct corrective action reporting and root cause analysis Perform testing of chemical, mechanical, and microscopic material properties Execute metal and sand testing as required Use hoists, forklifts, and various measuring tools to conduct accurate quality checks Required Skills & Qualifications Proven ability to work independently with little to no supervision Demonstrated high level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing documentation Ability to take precise measurements (+/- .005") using a variety of instruments Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and reporting Physical Requirements Ability to work in an industrial environment Must be physically capable of handling equipment and performing inspections What We're Looking For A self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of their work Someone dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high quality standards A team member who values accuracy, consistency, and doing the job right the first time
