Job Title:
Quality Technician
OVERTIME
$20-$23 Position Overview The Quality Technician plays a key role in supporting operations by promoting and maintaining a strong quality culture across the organization. This position ensures products meet company and customer standards by performing inspections, analyzing data, and partnering with production teams to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to balance enforcing standards while maintaining positive working relationships. Key Responsibilities Quality Inspection & Auditing Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods Conduct quality audits to identify non-conformities and ensure compliance with standards Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements Data & Continuous Improvement Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Identify inefficiencies (scrap, rework, throughput, labor) and determine root causes Recommend and help implement corrective actions and process improvements Collaboration & Support Work closely with production teams, engineers, and leadership to resolve quality issues Train and guide team members on quality standards and procedures Promote a positive quality mindset while maintaining standards and accountability Documentation & Compliance Record and maintain accurate inspection and quality control data Assist in developing and maintaining quality procedures and protocols Ensure all processes align with QA/QC standards and company requirements Qualifications Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and methodologies Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Work Environment Primarily based on the production floor with occasional office work Exposure to varying temperatures, loud noise levels, and manufacturing conditions Required use of PPE in all production areas Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking (approximately 65%) Regular bending, lifting, stooping, and kneeling (approximately 30%) Occasional office-based work (approximately 5%)
