Quality Technician (Product Materials Wood, Plastic etc.)
Location:
Orem, UT Schedule:
Monday-Thursday | 4:00 PM - 3:30
AM Pay:
$23.00/hour Responsibilities Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine quality audits and identify defects or non-conforming materials. Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify product specifications. Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation. Investigate quality concerns, identify root causes, and support corrective actions. Monitor production processes and help reduce scrap, rework, and other quality issues. Partner with production teams to maintain quality standards and improve processes. Follow established quality procedures and assist in training team members on quality expectations. Qualifications Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment. Ability to use precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers. Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and product specifications. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with production teams. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Requirements Steel-toed shoes required. Ability to stand, walk, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. #INDSLC
