Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Technician Lead to help drive product quality, food safety, and continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for an experienced quality professional who enjoys working closely with production teams, solving problems, improving processes, and ensuring our products meet customer expectations every day. What You'll Do As a QA/QC Technician Lead, you will play a key role in supporting our quality systems and helping maintain the highest standards of product safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards Conduct audits, inspections, and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process Investigate and document non-conforming materials and assist with root cause analysis Perform laboratory testing, including heat seal testing, retained solvent testing, COF testing, barcode verification, and other quality evaluations Generate Certificates of Analysis and maintain quality records Train and support production employees on quality procedures and testing methods Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives Process customer returns and support rework activities when needed Maintain quality hold areas, retain samples, supplier documentation, and laboratory equipment Partner with production teams to identify opportunities for improvement and reduce quality-related costs Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability throughout the facility What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills Effective communication and leadership abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools English required; bilingual Spanish is a plus Why Join PPC Flex?
