POSITION PURPOSE QA
Inspectors are responsible for identifying all issues and getting to the root cause of the problem, proactively recommending solutions that'll improve product durability and overall performance. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with various inspection procedures. Part of your responsibility will be to perform audits for all of our internal systems, identifying issues and recommending solutions. If you want to improve your skills and develop in the QA field, this is a great opportunity for you to work with a strong team and expand your knowledge in this area. This position is a full-time, hourly paid position, which enjoys many benefits, such as a Monday to Friday, 6:00 am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in a safe manner and following all safety rules. Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible. Inspect incoming and outgoing product for defects and durability. Prepare reports on non-conformance and corrective actions. Review current quality documentation on the production floor and create new documents as needed for consistency Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products. Collect parts and required trimming jigs from storage location/racks and place on workstation for processing Inspect parts to ensure they meet the required specifications to process. Utilizing jigs, callipers, Tape measure and go/no-go gauges, mark off the part with required scribe lines and drilling requirements. Complete assigned work within the given timeframe and according to specifications Maintain all quality standards in accordance with the specifications for each job in order to meet customer requirements Performs additional duties as deemed necessary Takes initiative and is a self starter Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time, work independently with minimal supervision, and resolve conflict in a professional manner. Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel Demonstrates flexibility and professionalism throughout the day Adhere to all start / end times including break and lunch schedules Willingness to work in other areas of the facility as required
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Required :
2 years of related experience in a QC position
Required :
Computer skills, the ability to work with the Microsoft suite of products
Required:
Possess knowledge of and ability to identify and work with FRP Materials, machining tools/equipment.
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited school system or program.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Required:
Ability to lift a minimum up to 50lbs.
Required :
Position requires physical requirements including lifting, pushing/pulling, bending/stretching and standing.
Required :
Able to communicate in English (written and verbal).
