Thrive in a workplace that values your contributions and well-being About the Job The Raw Materials Inspector performs a variety of working level and technical duties as needed to assure the ongoing compliance with the quality standards and specifications in an assigned work unit, including but not limited to the production floor, shipping receiving and outbound inspection. What You'll Do Inspect pallets and incoming containers for defects or contamination Check incoming C of A against internal specifications Fill out proper inspection paperwork Sample ingredients per SOP requirements Tag sampled bags or containers with sampled stickers Enter incoming ingredients info into QA spreadsheet on server Review raw material specifications, monitor testing requirements and Submit samples for testing Release ingredients, after C of A comes back Identify and fill out paperwork for rejecting materials or putting materials on QA hold. Ensure SOPs are followed. Ensure any defective material is returned to the vendor after the purchasing dept. is contacted in which they fill out a return form Other duties as assigned.
