Quality Control Analyst West Valley City, UT Job Details Full-time $38,085 - $49,809 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Employee assistance program Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Productivity software Full Job Description Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) in West Valley City, is seeking detail-oriented and analytical Quality Control Analyst to join our Legal Department and play a key role in safeguarding the integrity of our Mortgage Servicing operations. In this position, you will ensure servicing practices align with internal standards as well as FHA, VA, and GSE requirements, while contributing to a consistent, high-quality experience for the customers we serve. The Quality Control Analyst position pays between $38,085 and $49,809 annually, based on education and experience. As our Quality Control Analyst, you will conduct monthly audits across the mortgage servicing lifecycle, including loan boarding, escrow administration, payoffs, default servicing, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and claims. Your work will identify risks, strengthen processes, and help ensure compliance within regulatory and internal standards. You will also review customer interactions to ensure accuracy and consistency, and translate your findings into clear, actionable insights for the Mortgage Servicing Vice President and Chief Operating Officer to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities for our Quality Control Analyst include maintaining current knowledge of FHA mortgagee letters and Fannie Mae quality control standards, monitoring customer complaints, and inquiries for proper handling, and overseeing compliance with UHC's MERS Quality Assurance Plan, including reporting and the annual audit. This role works collaboratively with internal teams and external providers, as needed, to complete targeted reviews. The ideal candidate for our Quality Control Analyst position has an associate degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a bachelor's degree preferred, along with three years of mortgage servicing or quality control experience. Success in this role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
